　　In accordance with your letter of October 31，1987，I have made a personal inspection of the communication site at Pensacola and submit the following report.

　　Power Supply

　　Transformers：Thc transformers are in peak operating conditions. According to the log，two transformers are operating at the same time One supplies the power and the other is a standby.

　　Automatic Switchover：The automatic switchover equipment is working properly.Standard tests were performed and not once did the signal lose phase from one transformer to another

　　Equipment Room

　　Converters：The converter equipment has an output with less than 3%distortion.A routine check for distortion is made every hour and recorded according tO regulations Very little outage is recorded and no major outage has been recoMedd since the cable cut of October 2，1987

　　Muhiplex：The multiplex equipment is adequate with one exception.The second branch is operating on auxiliary power with no backup.A power supply has been ordered and should arrive November 28

　　Control Room

　　The control room is supervimd and everyone is well trained in control facilities.The outage record and the logs are kept accurately and upto date

　　Conelusion

　　The site at pensacola is one of the best in the area.The personnel are satisfied and no complaints were filed.The average outages add up to about 30 minutes a week，which is the best record in the area.
